Emma: Pride of Your Heart. These were the words that struck me early this year. As the Edomites (the Book of Obadiah) saw the unique landscape of their homeland as something to be proud of, what then, I asked myself, was the thing that serve as the pride of my heart? And had I been deceived by the so-called pride of my heart like the Edomites? Or, was it something unshakable?
